Ingen Ryuki

He was a monk of Obaku-syu(黄檗宗). He came to Nagasaki from China in1654 and he spread the concept of Zen(禅). He had a big influence on the culture of Edo. He built Mannpuku-ji temple (萬福寺)in Uji in 1661.
