Kikuchi Gozan

1769〜1849
He was a Confucian, composer of Chinese poem, and scholar of Chinese classics. He studied Confucianism under his father. Then he went to Kyoto and studied under Ritsuzan Shibano (柴野栗山). Gozan participated in Kouko-sya (江湖詩社) and played the lead.
