Aoki Syukuya

He was born in Kyoto. He became a pupil of Taiga Ikeno(池大雅) with an introduce from his cousin, Tennjyu Kan.(韓天寿). He was known for the best pupil of Taiga’s. After Taiga’s wife, Gyokurann(玉瀾), passed away, Taiga’s pupils built a Hall of Taiga (大雅堂) and Syukuya became a the hall’s master.
