Onzan

1748～1797
He was a monk born in Ise. He became a pupil of Itsuzan (佚山道人黙隠). At first, he lived at Kenyu-ji temple (見友寺)in Osaka. Later, he moved to Kyoto and live at Seigan-ji temple (誓願寺). According to gravestone, he was really hones and sincere and he never painted pictures for fame or money.
