Ishikawa Tairo

1762~1817
He was a direct retainer of shougun. He served as a security guard of castles.
He was interested in western painting and it is said he studied it from illustrations of western books. There are many his work that western paintings using Indian ink. It is famous “Copy of Van Royen’s Flowers and Birds”
