Yosa Buson

1716～1783
He was born in Osaka. He went to Edo when he was around 20. He studied both painting and haiku with traveling Kanto area and Tohoku area for 10 years. Then he went to Kyoto when he was 36. He established his original style of painting. He fused haiku and painting, Japan and China.
