Katsukawa Shuncho

He was an Ukiyo-e (浮世絵: pictures or woodblock prints of floating world) artist, the pupil of Syunsyo Kastsukawa (勝川春章). He drew mainly Bijin-ga (美人画: pictures of beautiful women).He depicted tall and healthy women. In block print, he respected Kiyonaga Torii (鳥居清長).
