Tokugawa Ieyasu

1542〜1616
He was the founder of the first shogunate. He was the eldest son of the castellan, Hirotada Matsudaira (松平広忠). His original name was Takechiyo Matsudaira (松平竹千代). Hirotada was killed by his retainer, so Matsudaida family lost power and Ieyasu became a hostage of Nobuhide Oda (織田信秀) and Yoshimoto Imagawa (今川義元) in his childhood. After Yoshimoto died, Ieyasu form a confederacy with Hideyoshi Toyotomi (豊臣秀吉) and Nobunaga Oda (織田信長). After Hideyoshi died, Ieyasun won the Battle of Sekigahara and became a Barbarian Subduing Generalissimo.
