Hoashi Kyou

1810〜1884
He was a Japanese-style painter born in Oita pref. He studied Nan-ga (南画：the Southern school of Chinese) under Chikuden Tanomura (田能村竹田) and Syunnkin Uragami (浦上春琴) . He interacted with some literati and established his own style of painting.
