Hidai Tenrai

1872～1939
He was the third son of Hidai family in Nagano pref. He went to Tokyo in 1897 and studied calligraphy under Meikaku Kusakabe (日下部鳴鶴). Also he studied Chinese literature too. He devoted education of calligraphy. He became a teacher at some artistic school. Many talented calligraphers appeared from his followers.
