Daikyu Ebo

1715〜1774
He was a monk of Rinzai-sect (臨済宗) born in Kyoto. It is said that he called “Muchu-zisya”(夢中侍者: dreamy monk) because he was sometimes in a stupor.
He was recognized as a great monk by Hakuin Ekaku(白隠慧鶴).
