Okumura Toshinobu

He was a painter. He drew various paintings including Bijin-ga (美人画: picture of beautiful women ), Syunga (春画: erotic painting), Kacho-ga (花鳥画: picture of flowers and birds). Especially, he drew many Yakusya-e (役者絵: picture of Kabuki actors).It is considered he was in charge of Yakusya-e in the Okumura school.
