Totoki Baigai

1777〜1847
He was a Japanese-style painter and Confusian born in Osaka pref. He studied Confucianism under Tosyo Ito (伊藤東所) and painting under Ikeno Taiga (池大雅)and Kien Minagawa (皆川淇園). He went to Nagasaki pref. and studied the art of painting under a Chinese painter, Hiseiko (費晴湖) in1790.
