Hayami Gyoshu

1894～1935
He was born in Tokyo. He studied under Fuko Matsumoto(松本楓湖). His early style of works was similar to Nan-ga (南画: the Southern school of Chinese). Then he drew various paintings in many styles and developed a new field. His major work, “Embu” (炎舞) fascinates people.
