Okumura Togyu

1889～1990
He was a painter born in to Tokyo. He became a pupil of Hanko Kajita (梶田半古). Also, he studied under Kokei Kobayashi (小林古径). Togyo won the prize at Inten Exhibition (院展) at the age of 38. In 1962, he won the Order of Culture.
