Ikeda Yoson

1895～1988
He was born in Okayama. He crossed over from western painting to Japanese-style painting. His master was Seihou Takeuchi(竹内栖鳳). After the war, He drew paintings like Douga (童画:paintings for children). He won the Order of Culture in 1987.
