Kikuta Ijyu

1791～1852
He was a painter born in Sendai. He became an adopted son of Kikuta family. In 1804, He went to Edo (now Tokyo) and studied under Naganobu Kano (狩野栄信). He had an interaction with Buncho Tani (谷文晁) and his pupils. He engaged in production of wall painting and there are more than 100 his works.
