Nakayama Koyo

1717～1780
He was a painter born in Kochi pref. He liked to draw since he was young. It is said that he studied painting by himself. He went to Kyoto for studying in his youth. Then, he moved to Edo in 1758. He lived there for 22 years. It is said that he died in the ship on his way home.
